The annual Servant Fair is held at Slytherin Academy in the last week of April, every year. At the servant fair, all servants who have turned 21 are put up for General Auction, unless they have already been placed on hold and paid for prior to the fair. All servants are required to have their clothes freshly laundered, and to have bathed no more than twelve hours before the beginning of the day.
All servants must attend, and those who are under 21 are displayed for potential buyers. They hold signs including their names, blood status, and age around their neck. The Servant Fair is a mjor event for the Academy, where a lot of the yearly money is made. Invitations go out to the Labour Camps in Northumberland, Essex and Northern Ireland as well as the Breeding Camps in Dorset and London and to the homes of many of the Higher Families.
